Question about the 'Newest Additions' list...

Last night, (I live in central time in the US) I had my 'Crater's Lake' wallpaper accepted and noticed it is on the very bottom of the newest additions list, below cappuccino which was accepted waaaaay (A day or two) before mine was. I was wondering, how does this 'Newest Additions' system work? Is it by the date when you sent it in to be accepted? or something else?

I believe it is the date/time of upload, not acceptance. But I'm sure someone will come by and correct me soon *s*

IMHO, It should be based on date of acceptance, but I dont run this site.

I kinda agree with this. I've seen a newest addition submission stay at the top for a couple of days while other new additions were added down at the bottom, and have even missed some of the new additions because the list isn't long enough sometimes.

Event...yes, the timing is taken from the date of submission but not the date of acceptance....this is clearly a bit of a problem and is on the list of 'things to do' for our hard-working Janitor to correct for us...

Like werewolf, I think I may miss some newer work sometimes.
Glad to hear it's in the 'pile of stuff to do'.
