windowblind 3.5 over windoblinds 4.0

hi there my bother gave me his old pc and already has windoblinds 3.5 installed, iam interested on getting the new windowblinds 4.0, do i have to unistall the previous version before installing the new one or just install it over?
i dont want to lose the blinds it has already installed.

Move your blinds to a new location. Then uninstall 3.5 and install 4. Then move the blinds back into 4.
