How do you switch to "User mode" of DesktopX so that it will stay like that ?

IM using DesktopX version 1.3 and I switch to "User mode", but wheneer I restart my comp or reload desktopX, it switches back to Edit mode, so how do I save it so when I switch to user mode, it will stay like that .
