Object Desktop download problems

I recently got a new computer and transferred everything over, during which time my Object Desktop subscription ended.

I've restored the backup of the OD programs that I had made a few months ago (pre WB4). I was under the impression that I could still download any updates from one year since I purchased the subscription, but now when I try and get the stuff I hadn't backed up it brings up an expired serial number pop-up.

I paid for WB4 and the other stuff made between my last backup and when my subscription expired, but I can no longer get them.

How do I get what I had bought?

Install all over again, and re-enter your serial?

I didn't notice many differences going from 3.4 to 4.0, but I've definitely noticed a lot being kicked from 4.0 to 3.4

The official blurb:

When you purchase Object Desktop, you automatically get a 1 year subscription to ObjectDesktop.net, You not only get all of the features Object Desktop has today, but all of the features for the next year. This means all updates and new programs added to it you automatically get during that year. And what you download is yours forever. At the end of the year, you can continue your subscription or stick with what you already have.

The component manager program is blocking me from doing this.

Aqua: Visit IRC and ask for Nakor. He will help you out. If not then mail to [email protected]

It's not blocking you. It doesn't have the brains to supply the components for any possible combination of expiration dates.

We keep zip snapshots every month or so to handle this with all the components, but a backup of your components using the CM or SDC would have handled this.
