I had contact with the company smart, about making a suite for them. After they told me their wishes and stuff I begane on their suite, but now I am still waiting for their permissions, so my questions was: do you need permissions on a design of a car??
(think it's going to be a waste of time....)

If you made the suite in the style of it, then you probably wouldn't need upload permissions, if no copyrighted materials have been used, like logo's or pics of the car. But if the reverse is true, then I'd wait to hear from them first.

Ok, There were no origninal graphics used, but it gets REAL close to the design of it, you can see right away that that is the car..., I will just wait to hear from them again.

Hippy, you did do commercial suites right? How much did you charge for them?

Remember, Smart is big. They are part of the German Daimler Chrysler (in fact the Mercedes Car Group). They may be a little slow. Try to use the contacts that you alread have. I wouldn't worry if they are going to distribute it them selves. Make an effort to obtain such permission if others (like WC) are allowed to distribute it.

They replyed last week about it, and told me they were going to fix the permission thing, I just need it for on my own site and on WC if possible.

Its just nice to have an 'official' suite
