pjpowell - As it seems to modify the object text I wonder if it could be used by people vie dxscript to show an on/offline image in another object. Will have to look into that.

pjpowell, the code i used has 2 DX states, which are actually set based on the state of the recycle bin.

i can (and am going to) change this so that these states are based on online / offline. i am not sure how you would detect that in DX script. in the original DXTrash example, there is a "package.ini" file, which contains the section:
