Anyone experienced DX 1.96 slow performance?????

Anyone has slow performance when using DX 1.96 version???
Because I just used it yesterday, and I play a game and wow, the framrate droppped whole punch. Then I switched back to DX 1.3 version, everything is good again. I think DX 1.96 version is really not good as 1.3. Any comment???

Also I tried to email [email protected] like million times, not even one reply. What is wrong with them?

Stardock is aware of the issue and we are looking into it. Thanks for the report.

As a side note: You should be aware that version 1.9x is still in beta. If it causes you stability problems then we suggest you stick with version 1.3 until the final version 2.0 has been released.

I can imagine that support was a bit too busy lately with the WB bugs of last weekend. However, that does not free us from any blame. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.

Yes, I am a Stardock developer.

Older 1.9x should have similar problems.

Hehe. Once again: Thanks for the report. I'll pass this to the DX team. I take it you are using Windows XP? What kind of graphics card do you have?

There are other bugs as well, I already emailed to [email protected] but got no reply. So maybe I should tell you here.

1)When I click "hide explorer taskbar" it works, but when I restart my comp or reload DesktopX or relogin, it auto set it to auto hide and the "hide explorer taskbar" option is unchecked. So it's like it didn't save

2)When I use the "reduce work are" option, I set top and bottom, but when I reload DesktopX , the are was normal.

3)The Email notify plugin didn't save the "information" that I put in.
I set the pop server and accoutn name and password everything, but when I reload DesktopX, it didn't ssave the information.

4)Also, it would be nice if DesktopX can stay in the "User Mode" even when restart computer or reload DesktopX.

If I found out more, i'll let u know, thx.
