Those little password dots!-For XP Logon Studio

Hey everyone sorry to be the noob here but i know that in some sites and other logon panels that " * " are used I was struggling to find the code for them anywhere in the ufile and theme folder. I was wondering if there is a way to change the color of them. Is there a way?, or is this done through somewthing else other then logonstudio? thanks alot hope you all can help.

How about freeform while we're at it?
