Cheat Codes

So i have enjoyed this game a lot; However I'm getting board of the same old game. I have tried to figure out how to use cheat codes to change things up, but i cant figure it out. Is there anyone here who can help activate the cheats on this game?

Im running the Steam version on Win 10 Home. 64Bit

Well I was able to get it to work on Steam. the "Cheat" option was not working before. i may have been doing it wrong the whole time.
