show desktop link in objectdock

how do a link an icon in my objectdock, to the "show desktop" feature?

i know it was posted here before but i cant find it. sorry.

also there used to be some cool pngs for showing the desktop, but i cant find those either, sorry, but i cant.

some help?

what i did was grab the show desktop icon on to object dock, browsed the icon folder and replaced the ugly image with something better looking.

hey and also grabbing works for most the apps that you can't create a shortcut directly from object dock. (eg: control panel, help, and a lot of other stuff)

The only limitation is that you have to keep the shortcuts on the desktop too.
If you delete it the link is broken and it just doesn't work.

But you can still hide the desktop icons.

Hi Show desktop lives normally in the quick launch tool bar and is a .scf windows explorer command, you can either drag a copy from there to the dock or or shortcut to it from there or alternatively type this as the command line (replacing with your own username)

C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\Show Desktop.scf

Haven't tried it here at work but should work
