Start10 search not find matches

like searching for "GoodSync" by typing "sync"

I love Start10 product very much as it is an impressive replacement to the ugly Windows10 Start menu.

The problem is that the search cannot find text within words, 

For example, I tried to search for my synchronization software "GoodSync" by typing "sync", but it returns with Google's "Backup and Sync" , but not my program GoodSync!

I tried adding the asterisk "*" and "!" wildcards, but nothing works!

Is there a solution to find part of text within a word through Start10 product?

The suggested solution is already applied on my computer, however, the problem persists!

Please try it yourself, could the search catch any string within a word? 

Can you search for "Excel", by typing "cel"? or searching for "PaintShop pro" by typing "shop"? Both don't work for me!

I think this is a programming issue that can be solved by changing the SQL statement to LIKE "%...%", or similar.

 

Hope you can fix this soon as it will be a valuable addition to your valuable software.

Okay.. Now I understand what you are getting at. Well, if you try Windows 10 search, which I believe how Start10 get its search result. It too fail to search for Excel by just typing "cel".
