Bugs?

Start 10 - No access to the windows 10 menu and Start 10 not starting correctly

Hi,

Tried posting some screen shots, no success!

Start 10 used to have a small picture/icon below the user's picture of the Windows 10 menu, click this and you were able to access to 'old' Windows 10 menu - No Picture/Icon available now!

On clicking the start button Start 10 opens but I have to click the 'Back' button at the bottom to get to 'All Programs' this then shows the number of icons I have set in the configuration application, this is the same each time I click start.

I have tried re-installing Start 10 a number of times with no change in both of the issues outlined above.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. You can go to Windows 10 menu by pressing the right windows key. But if you keyboard don't have a right windows key you can set it by selecting your alternate preference (refer picture below)

Hi,

Yes, I know I can use the method outlined above, but It was a useful way of getting to the old menu instead of have to pre-plan and hold a special key.

It would be nice if I could cut and paste an image into this message to explain the second issue!

You can always upload that screen capture to site like imgur and link it here.

Hi, Managed to upload a couple of screen grabs!

First one - shows how Start 10 currently opens, all icons down L/H side and 'Back' button circled. when Start 10 starts/opens I can see the correct screen (below) very briefly (microseconds).

Second, how Start 10 should start with the 'All Programs' option, I have to click the 'Back' button (circled above ) to get to this!

I have currently un-installed Start 10 as this 'bug' is very annoying and the software is no longer fit for purpose intended.

I would like to use Start 10, so I hope you can provide a fix for this issue.

Hello,

Could you check if you have the "Default to the all programs list on menu open" is not selected. If that is selected it will goes directly to program list everytime you open start10

Thank you,
