Slow and sluggish desktop

Greetings, i onced install fences years ago as a trial version on my very low end laptop which has an intel hd 1000 but after some years, i finally bought fences on steam a week ago and im having performance issues while hovering the cursor to the rolled up fences or moving a fence throughout my desktop screen. Im using an intel hd 3000 laptop right now and idk why the performance gone worsen over the years of update. Any help would be appreciated, i already searched up all of the forums and i tried all suggestions but the only thing i have not tried is downgrading the version of the application but im on steam version, i dont know if its possible to downgrade. Moving icons too are not smooth unlike fences disabled, moving icons are fast and smooth.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. You mentioned that you have tried all suggestions. Have you tried the purge and reinstall steps listed here? https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling

make sure to re-download the latest version from your account again. Install that version, reboot, retest and report back.

Yes, before posting this, 4 days ago, i tried everything i can from what i found on this forums. purging, reinstalling,etc. If i remove the icons from a fence, it runs pretty smoothly. Sad to say im gonna have to refund this on steam if im not able to fix it. i think my only hope is to downgrade the steam fences version but i dont know if its possible.

It runs much better on a new user admin account, but it has least amount of icons than my main windows admin account, so from what i can say, it has something to do with the amount of  icons lying on my desktop right now. Thinking rebuilding everything from scratch might fix it but how can i do it? 

update: just tried transferring my desktop icons and folders to the new account, and it runs the same, slow and laggy. Gonna have to refund this. Feels bad, tho.

Windows 10 Build 18309.1000 (insider preview)

I had to uninstall Fences because the destop does not respond.
