Start10 Start Menu Icon is missing from taskbar

My start menu icon is missing from the taskbar, I can press the windows key on the keyboard and get start10 to open, but the icon is missing.  I uninstalled start10 and the windows default start menu icon reappears and works as expected.  However, when I tried to reinstall start10 the icon disappears.  HELP!

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Try the purge and reinstall steps : https://forums.stardock.com/486022/start10-support-faq#reinstalling

Make sure to download the latest version from your account. Reinstall that and reboot. Retest it and report back here.

It sounds like you may have unticked the option Start10 to show the icon.

In Start10 settings, go to Desktop and at the bottom there is a setting "Show a start button on the main taskbar".  I suspect this is unticked.
