Installation error at the start of installing the new version of Groupy

I received a message that there was a new version of Groupy availalbe. After starting the install process I got the following error message:

Could not open the uninstall executable for writing: An unknown error occured while accessing C:\Program Files(x86)\Stardock\Groupy\uninstall.exe

C:\Program Files(x86)\Stardock\Groupy\uninstall.exe

What must I do to install the new version?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please the purge and reinstall steps : https://forums.stardock.com/488142/groupy-support-faq#reinstalling

Make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Install that version, Reboot and test it.
