Oh...it was only a matter of time before somebody had to mention Aafus and that babya thing.

wombat - the word you're looking for is bot-botched.

we've invoked the name of the Aaful One in the past, only to see him resurface. May his ears not be burning.

On clicking on the link so thoughtfully provided to us by C242, I noticed some subtle commentary toward the bottom of the screenshot. Three icons, running from left to right, on a slight incline, represent firstly, the modem; secondly, Internet Explorer; and thirdly, Outlook Express. Obviously expressing the author's opinion, that the the modem led to the internet browser which then, in turn, lead to e-mail.

But I could be wrong in my interpretation. What do you think?

Those with good eyesight might be able to spot the hidden image of a teddy in his screenshot. It really is quite clever.

i am going to pass the hat around and i want you all to put in whatever you can afford and we can then buy the poor author a subs to Object Desktop

themajor: Please do not propose that. He might start visiting this message board again.

/me ponders sending in a screen shot of his Babya desktop.

/me thinks Stardock might cancel his subscription to Object Desktop as a result.

Ya'll are too cruel. There is another version where Teddy matched the blue color of the taskbar.Technically this qualifies as a mod and the author was proud enough to let everyone see.The icon placement was quite innovative i thought.

I thought this was a community that only practices constructive criticism. It doesn't seem to be constructive to go on flaming some guy that either is not skilled or does not make art that meets your tastes.

Tech Cat & I.R. Brainiac : This guy has a long history in doing such and even more weird stuff. It is not clear yet if this is intended or not. You need to know the whole (long) story before judging about us.

What is the point in going on and on about something in the past? Making threads like these might scare newbies into not submitting in fear of becoming the subject of ridicule.
