Taskbar Textures do not auto-adjust to vertical taskbars

I use my taskbar in a top-to-bottom fashion on the left side of the screen. This makes a lot of sense on widescreen displays that have plenty of space in the horizontal direction.

Unfortunately, Start10 does not rotate the textures with the taskbar. Is this a bug or a feature? ;-)

Of course, I can meddle with the textures using a grapics editing software, but it seems somewhat unwieldy to do this for all the textures to create additional vertical ones just for trying them out.

Is there a chance this can be fixed in a future version? Thanks!
