issue, game not running

hello,

I am trying to play galactic civilization 3 but the game doesn't run and show a display error. I have already tried some of the tricks online but still, it doesn't launch.

I am using a remote desktop (Amazon EC2) with more than enough RAM and CPU so I am not getting why it still doesn't work even if other games like Stellaris don't have problems running.

Using remote destktop to play that game is not something we tested or support.  That said, but not knowing what the 'display error' actually is, you may want to visit the FAQ to see if any solutions there can help:

That, as you may have seen, it covered in the FAQ under: -Error: 'Failed to initialize display'

I trust you tried EVERYTHING there - it's rather extensive.
