Open single window without Groupy Tab Bar

I just have a question that I have not been able to solve through settings. When I open a new singular window of most apps, like Chrome, it just opens a new window normally without any Groupy graphics.
However, for a few apps, notably Excel which I use all the time, I cannot get a single window (whether I open it fresh or remove from an existing group) to display normally, without the Tab Bar on top. This is frustrating, as I only wish to use Groupy for Excel in certain situations and especially in full screen mode takes away valuable screen space and makes the min/max/X buttons harder to find when I don't want the tab bar there.
Am I doing something wrong, or is this a limitation? I am on Groupy 1.25, winver as follows:
