if I pay $9.99 for fences for my computer is this a once a year charge, or once a month

If you buy Fences as a stand alone it's a one time buy . If later it upgrades to a newer
version it is probably be offered to you at a discounted price .
Make sure to keep your original download file to be able to install it again if needed .
Now if you buy Fences as part of Object Desktop Pkg. that is a yearly renewal , but also
gets you free updates and upgrades as long as your subscription is up to date .
