Serial entered is registered to another account.

This situation is frustrating to the point of insanity. Stardock really needs to get it's stuff organized.

I just purchased WindowBlinds, of which I have been a user since the days of XP and recently decided to do an upgrade. Well after seeing all the packages I could get with Object Desktop I decided to buy it. Entered the ONLY email address I have used for 15 years and paid via PayPal.

Installed the app and wouldn't you know it..... The serial entered is registered to another account.

Maybe I typed the email wrong? Hard to say, but after reading the forums for a solution it would appear that this is an all too common problem. Whats worse is that I also purchased a Windowblinds skin and literally the same problem. No download link and apparently no simple solution.

 

Word of advice, make your purchases only available to LOGGED IN ACCOUNT USERS as it would solve / prevented both of my problems.

 

So now, how do I get my purchase linked to my account so I can activate Object Desktop?

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Your account is under the original email you used .

So are you using a different email now ,

if not then you probably misspelled your original email.

are you now using a new email or the original email ?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Since you mentioned you purchased using your paypal account. Have you check loging in using your paypal linked email account? If it does appear there. You can than merge those two account using this guide. : https://forums.stardock.com/486311/accounts-and-activation-support-faq#mergeaccounts
