How to change my boot up screen to true color?

Every time i boot up Win XP Pro the colors seem like 256 or very low resolution, how can i get it to boot with true colors? or if possible with another pic i like?

Logon studio doesn't change the boot screen. Sorry, but you can't. You can put your own 16-color picture in as the loading screen, though. Here http://theeldergeek.com/boot_logo_01.htm

Are you talking about the Bootscreen...? As far as I know you can only have an Indexed 16 color bitmap at 640x480.

Kona0197...I'm thinking she was saying "Sorry, but you can't" in reference to the true color not that you couldn't change the bootscreen
