Spacemonger from Humblebundle will not activate

There was a similar post about this same program failing to activate for many users which has been locked. Here's the link:

Specifically this post : "That worked for my groupy key but not spacemonger...... "

I purchased the HumbleBundle Stardock bundle and everything I've chosen to install works and registers except for Spacemonger. When I enter my key and the same email address as the other products it fails. Stardock's activator states the email is not associated with the key. What should I do?
