Question about Start10 activation.

How many installs?

Hi.
I've just bought a 2nd copy of Start10.

When I bought the original copy a few years ago the Software EULA said you can install 1 copy on 5 machines for personal use.

It looks like the EULA has now changed? It states that 1 copy can be installed on 1 machine.

If this is the case will the changed EULA affect the older copy of Start10 or just the new one...or preferebly none at all :)

(The older copy is activated on my parents machines and the new copy is for use on my PC/laptop/old PC so the multiple installs I suspected I would be getting based on the old EULA would be welcomed).

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hello,

From what I know, yes the current licenses is for 1 machines only. But the old licenses still stay as is 1 key for 5 Personal machines.

Thank you,

Thanks for the reply.

From what you know...I don't suppose there's anything official on this so I can be 100% sure?

Thanks :)

While new licenses may still activate multiple machines, it is correct that the license is valid for only one machine at a time.  Older licenses will not be affected and will continue to support 5 machines for personal use.
