Activation error -11 on first install

Hello,

I just upgraded my computer today to windows 10 from windows 7 pro unmodified and have received the verification email for start10 and clicked the button on that email and a screen came up and said accepted but the when I click continue in the installer software it just comes up and says "unable to activate Start10. Please try again or contact support. (Error code: -11).

I signed up for a 30 day trial before purchasing - how can I get beyond this point?

I tried clicking back and then going forwards again but i just get the same error. 

Could someone help? I heard this software was really good.

Update, not sure what the issue was but I made a change to the page file size to speed things up and restarted and retried the activation process and it worked. 

I couldn't find anywhere that would tell me what that error meant.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try this steps :

1) Remove all previous install of Start10, by using purge and reinstall steps mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/486022/start10-support-faq#reinstalling. Just do the purge part.

2) Get the latest version from your account. Using this guide .https://forums.stardock.com/484254/getting-your-products-and-keys

3) Make sure to reboot after the purge. Than reinstall using the installer you download from your account. Reboot again, retest and report back here.
