What does a skin / theme / object that is "Stardock Certified" mean...? I notice there are some in the DX section now. How are they different than other objects?

Frogboy - Is there any more on the way of details about that and the process involved. As a user what should I expect of a Stardock Certified object. The reason I ask is that this new DX is great, but how am I to know there won't be any bad scripts in these objects that will be able to do not so nice things. If advertisers or other bad people start backing objects things could get interesting if you know what I mean.

iirc i heard plugins will be signed, and some switch with DX2 to only use those signed plugins, that way DxToys or other 3rd party plugins wont crash DX2 maybe...

kith - that's what I mean. If it's Stardock certified, we've checked through it to make sure it works fine.

Hey, I haven't thought of that. If advertisers and spyware programmers find out about dektop X, things could get ugly. Major things could easily be skrewed up in a few lines of VBScript. RRGG..

Sure, but there are a lot easier ways to do that. Afterall, any webpage can do javascript.
