ok, first off a hello to everyone.
I have just recently (past 2 days) discovered this site and the wonderful items it contains.
Now I a m just trying to get it all to work together and am having some difficulty.
Q1: How do I save a bunch of choices together so that it automatically starts up when my computer restarts.
Problem Details: I have chosen the full colony theme with minor changes(icons, logon logo and wallpaper modified from fifferent schemes). My main problem is getting the taskbar autoloaded. I have downloaded all of the object desktop programs, and it all will convert over correctly when i doubleclick the saved theme package file. The computer just wont "go to it" after a reboot. All of the accessories,blinds, and skins load fine. Just not the Taskbar.
Q2: When autoloading the sysmetrix "Colony" program it always automatically loads up in the Colony Configuration, how do i get it to autoload into the Horizontal DX configuration?
Q3: When attempting to install new icons, I get the message:
"The icons for the WindowsXP Classic Start Menu cannot be changed. This is currently a limitation within the operating system, and not a problem with the IconPackager application." I am administrator on my account and do not know why this wont let me change it, any ideas, or any setting changes I missed?
OK, and finally for a friend:
Q4: Coworker is using XP professional and is attempting to change his logon page, but when he reboots it never actually changes. On mine it jumps to view the logon screen as soon as i hit the save and apply setting, on his he gets no response, any ideas on why or how to fix this?
Please reply if you can help with any of these questions. Any help would be much appreciated.
