I can't get wincustomize to work / activate after purchase of subscription.

Wincustomize

An error occured when attempting to download WinCustomize Subscription. Please contact [email protected].

When I click on the link to activate in email I get the error "An error occured when attempting to download WinCustomize Subscription.

Please contact [email protected]." and nothing else. 

 

I can't find anything on the site to "activate" it???  I would like this to work, but I will request a refund if it doesn't.

Hello,

I think you may be confused about your WinCustomize subscription and not something you need to install or activate.

The WinCustomize subscription allows access to a collection of "skins", 'dreams', and 'packages' that requires certain programs to run or implement them. For example, WindowBlinds skins require WindowBlinds, Dreams require DeskScapes, icon packages require IconPackager, and so forth.

These applications are part of Object Desktop (but can be purchased individually). The current list of the applications in Object Desktop can be found at http://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/information.asp

WinCustomize subscriptions comes with the features listed at http://www.wincustomize.com/subscribers.aspx?info

While you may download skins from WinCustomize without limits, you will need the appropriate programs to run the software.

That all said, you do not have a Wincustomize sub under the account you are posting under.  If you did purchase a WC sub, please create a ticket here with the email address you used to purchase it:
