The Cure?

The music group I mean.

Never heard of them.

I was a huge Cure nut in the 80's but for some reason, I kinda grew apart from them

Well, I got a new Mp3 player today and was putting songs on it and I noticed that I have a long of songs from The Cure (I have a lot of their albums tapes and later CDs from over the years).

One of my favorite songs starts out "Show me how you do that trick, the one that makes me scream she said." I love that song.

Robert Smith......Brilliant! My favourite is "Lullaby".

Same here. Huge Fan in the Eighties besides Joy Division/New Order, Depeche Mode and Sisters of Mercy.
Nowadays I am more into Electronic Music, but now and then I still listen to an old Cure album...

Have seen them live several times, also.

I have a MP3-player in my car and made some discographies on CD-R, so that I take all albums of a certain group with me.
Way to work (~1 hour) and back is a great opportunity to listen to music for me.

I have a 12 inch Laser Disc of them Playing at an old castle,,It iz remarkable.Ole Bob don't dance much though,,,,Great show-Look for it.

Yes,c/Front/242 it iz,,It is very inspirational,spiritual at that castle.I think it may be the best Laser Disc I have,,,,wait-David Sylvian in Japan with Robert Fripp/Adrian Belew/Tony Levin,,itz a tough call.Luckily I have a still functioning LD Player,,The CURE iz almost as phat as it gets.

Bit before my time really. A Forest was quite good. The rest is so so.

I've been a Cure fan since high school in the late 80's. Hanging out on a basement couch with a perspective girlfriend ... I think I listed to the Cure like a lot of people listened to Pink Floyd in the 70's. Of course, I love Pink Floyd too. I saw The Cure play in Boston once. Great show, great band. Nothing else quite like them. (Despite that Morrisey's best efforts )

BTW, I still remeber Robert Smith saying he will quit The Cure if any other song should be as successfull as 'Love Cats'.
