Various issues with new samsung book s

I have the new samsung book S which is a windows 10 device using snapdragon. Everything works with all my programs except objectdock stuff. Windowblinds installs but will not change theme. I get error that windowblinds doesn't look to be properly installed and it doesn't switch the skin. Even choosing to try to fix it.

CursorFX doesn't work right. I keep finding myself back at the base cursor also the click point moves around.

Fences would not run said it wasn't installed properly.

Sounds seems to be working at least for some of the sounds maybe not all

iconpackager seems to work so far

not sure on the rest. I will add to my post as i try multiplicity etc.

I imagine all this is happening because they modified the windows shell to work with arm? not sure but this stuff doesn't work right.

Help!

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. After a little read on Windows 10 for ARM, I realize it is not actual Windows 10 but Its Windows 10 emulator. I have forwarded your questions/problems to the Stardock Support team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

Thank you. Also deskscapes doesn't run. It says it doesn't run on non 64bit platforms but my computer info says windows 10 64bit arm version. It also has 8 gigs of ram and a specialized graphics processor which some games do not recognize if they are openGL only directX works.

Any updates on this? Also I am having problems with deskscapes on my new gaming box with a i7 9700k and msi geforce rtx 2070 super with latest windows updates and drivers. gigabyte MB. it stutters and continues with animation. Very frustrating that this stuff isn't working on my latest hardware. =(

Unfortunately you have an ARM based processor on that machine and we only offer applications designed for Intel/AMD processors.

Whilst some 32 bit intel apps will run, anything which extends the shell like Fences or WindowBlinds, or Deskscapes would need to have ARM 64 native versions in order to support that machine and they have not been created.

I actually have a Surface Pro X myself as does the company CEO which also run ARM processors.

Which animation are you running as this isn't normal.  That's way fast enough to run Deskscapes.

On Arm CPU: thats too bad. I hope you can make a version for arm soon. Seems like it should be an easy fix to completely port it over.

On my gaming box. I am getting it on many different deskscape wallpapers from wincustomize.com I don't know if its a drivers glitch or what.

I also have objectdock subscription and wanted to try the new curtains product but it isn't in my objectdock manager or my licenses logging into the website =(

Sorry this thread is bouncing all over. been awhile since I have used my stardock products. I am encountering an issue making my explorer windows transparent =(

I saw some posts that we are not able to do this in win10???

I am in advanced config and the option to make transparent is greyed out? =(

Yes, if we are looking at the same thing, the option "I want styles to be able to apply textures to the back of explorer windows" is gray out in Windows 10 system. I believe it is because it won't work in Windows 10.

Darn. Is there a way to implement these items? Transparency in Explorer and making everything work on ARM for the next generation of mobile computing?

Thank you for the prompt responses!
