What a sad day, Deskmod.com has shut down.

They'll be back they say b ut the world won't be the same without them for however long it takes.

Best of luck to Gorman and iMike and everyone else that made DM one of the best. We'll miss you and anxiously await your return.

btw - I would have put this on the news page but I assume Mike will be doing that and I wanted to save the front page story for him. He should get to express his feelings and break the news himself. I caqn only imagine how difficult it was for the whole team to reach this point. I feel for you guys and hope the future sees renewed success for the site and whatever you pursue.

Ah...grumble, grumble.....it's all 'negative' news when we hear of one of 'our' sites closing, no matter what the reason. Let's hope it's only temporary and she comes back soon...

Hopefully they'll be back soon. On the other hand, it's an object lesson to those who think the net should be free.

I can tell you that Stardock is really hopwing the text ads (top left corner of the home page) will help start paying the bills soon.
