Can not install latest version (1.91)

I'm trying to install the latest version of your s/w but about 1/3 into the installation I get an error message when it gets to:

I tried to find out where/how this and subsequent "BOTTOM..." files might be in use but to no avail. I also restarted my PC twice also with the the same result.

Also please note that your installation program is pointing to "C:\Users\Public\Documents... whereas my PC has the the "Documents and other folders" prefixed with "Public" and which I might add I had not intervention in their naming.

My PC is a Dell XP-8930 with an Intel i7-9700 processor, 16 GB of memory and running the latest version of Windows-10.

Hope you can shed some light on this!

PS: The "Choose Cancel to install this file on reboot" option you provide has absolutely no effect!

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Do you have a previous version of Start 10 installed ?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please uninstall the previous version before installing the new version. If that still unsuccessful, please try the purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/486022/start10-support-faq#reinstalling

Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your acoount. Reboot after the purge, reinstall the latest version available for you. Reboot again and retest. Report back.

Thanks

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

It's because you have Windows Controlled Folder Access enabled.  Please see:
