Plug-In mania!!!

Can anybody think of a plug - in idea for programs like windowblinds, object bar or DX?

I only have a few myself but i think they are cool:

Windowblinds news scroll:
Scroll news from your favorite news site, or blog site

Windowblinds analog clock

Windowblinds theme switcher
Swich from one sub theme to another with a click of a button

Windowblinds mail checker (now with sounds!

)
Tells you when you have mail

Object Bar analog clock
Done! somebody got that one already

Object Bar news scroller
I like news...

Obeject Bar calander

DX... can't think of anything really... _Martin_ and others have done a good job keeping me happy

So what would you guys want as a plug-in?

Now that I think about it... how do you make a plug-in anyway?

i know a plugin i want for DX, so i made it

it tells me how long i have been online on my dial up modem connection

as for how:
step 1 - download the sample plugin's from the DesktopX website
step 2 - read the documentation on writing DX and OB plugins
step 3 - make rude comments about the undocumented API's. they are the ones you want to experiment with
step 4 - realise that if you dont know windows programming, this is going to be confusing, and it was
step 5 - watch DesktopX crash a LOT as you learn by trial and error
step 6 - upload your new plugin for the world to see

i am currently at 5.5 i have the plugin, but i want to polish it before uploading it.
