Purchased on one computer for use on another

I recently purchased start 10 for use on A Windows 10 computer. The purchase was made through my Windows 8.1 computer as that is where my payment information/E-mail is registered. An e-mail was sent to me via my 8.1 computer. This e-mail contains the start 10 product key. I Copied the key to the windows10 computer but am unable to achieve a successful installation.
