CursorFX 4 Eternal loop

Animated cursors have eternal loops on animation

Hi everyone.

I used to use Cursor Fx previously, not the plus version, it was just what I needed

I wanted to upgrade to CFX 4 because I asumed it would be more stable on Win10 (previous version crashed from time to time)

My problem is that some of my old skins, all of them dowloaded from wincustomize, have their animations much faster than it used to be, and also in an eternal loop of the animation, making it very uncomfortable to use. With previous version of CursorFX they worked perfectly

I'd love to be able to fix this issue because I really loved my cursor skins, and an upgraded program should work for the better,  not worse :(

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. You are referring to something similar issue listed in this thread? if yes, than as stated in that thread, the issue is known and have been bugged internally. Hopefully it will be resolved on the next update. There is a work around in that thread that should resolved the issue fast if you wish to do so.

If your issue is totally different than above. Please list down the Cursors style you're having problem with so we can investigate further.

Thank you,

Hello basj:

Thanks a lot for the quick response. Indeed that is the pronlem, but in my case it is not only with the "text state" cursor, but with many others that have similar transition effects.

I uninstalled CFX 2.16, but I think I saved a copy of the installer somewhere, so I'll try the work around if I can. Hope you can fix this soon!!

If it serves you I can upload a video here with the skins I have problems showing all the states with this issue

Greetings!!

Hi Basj,

The workaround worked, but not perfectly... :(

At least the transition animations now work fine so now I can use the cursors, but most of the "pressed states" now do not show as they should.

I hope the fix for this is released soon in a new update so we can use our favourite skins as tey should!

Thanks for the help so far anyways.

Greetings!!

Hello Sean

Sorry to ask but I do not understand exactly what does that mean ^_^'

Is it fixed? Is there something I should do with that? There is an update to it? Or you are working on iclude it on an upcoming update or something?

Thanks a lot for the support and sorry if what I ask is too dumb or something :P

Can anyone give me the installer file for a CursorFX version where this did work? So far it doesn't on version 4.03 or 2.10
