The Message board as an Infomation Base

I don't know how many times I have come here to get info, ask for something, read something I didn't know, or help someone else out and end up helping myself.

I have seen so many useful threads here from the best car to how to fix your computer and what graphics card to get.

I think that while the image files is the reason why this site is here (all of those lovely skins) and is the utmost importance to save in case of a server loss, I also think that this message board (and the new newsboard) is very important to the users of this site as well.


It is what is called a Knowledge Base.

I hope T-man and the T-man helpers have better message bours text finding tools in the future as well as other ways of finding posts.

I feel the message board is very important to this site (and others) and I feel soon it will be as important as the skins because of the wealth of data posted here

I think youre right, joe. Always when I visit Wincustomize, first I see all the new skins, and then go to messageboard. It is just a part from Wincustomize. And one really lovely place to speak out to your hearts content.

I agree, this board is a huge knowledge base if we don't seem to get off topic with the thread But you can ask almost any question and somebody will most likely have the answer or show you where to look.

I agree with you about the knowledge base - a whole lot of smart people here (some older than 14 even ). A lot of entertainment and even some pretty good friends.

An important part of my day.

I think that sometime even when the original topic goes astray for one or 2 posts it can be helpful

Even a thread like the Message Board Marathon has useful stuff in there.

I just wondered if anyone felt the same way I do about this board. Meeting people here is great, and the amount of knowledge we all have combined is scarey

There are some really nice people here. And some really nice helpers

I got to try and help more, but I don't know nothing


I hope as the board gets longer and larger that there is more day time work power put into searching for threads and stuff.

(Having a link to the newsboard next to the other message boards would be nice )

Hmmm, maybe I've been around too long, but I've never gained any new insights/knowledge from this board. The only purpose it serve for me, is amusement.

Okay, and sometimes I feel noble and help the newbies.
