Getting Permission

I created a Logon for one of my favorite WindowBlinds and I thought I’d upload it here, but then I realized I better get permission from the author of the WindowBlind since I did use some of it in creating the logon. How do I contact this person though? I don’t see any email addresses listed on the site anywhere. If it matters, this is the WindowBlind that I created a logon for: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?authorid=430119 (FlatBlue)

Good question since he isnt showing an email address.

A lot of people put there email in with the windowblind. You can open the blind and look or click on the authors name and see if its in there profile.

His email address is in the skin file. Browse to the skin folder and open FlatBlue.uis in notepad. You'll see his email address near the top. Since he's chosen not to display it in his profile, I'd rather not post it.

Well I havn't got a respone or anything to my emaiul so let me change my question. Do I really need to get permission? The only thing thats the same are the colors and I used the background that came with it; nothing else.

You will need permission to use the Background from who-ever it belongs to, otherwise we will not accept the submission...

What if I make my own background that looks similar and still matches the theme but isn't actaully the same?

Original graphics are fine....cut and paste is not....
