Windows window management conventions - middle-click, maximize behaviour

Hi! I'm a first-time Groupy trial user and had a little feedback on my experience with 1.44.

Mostly really positive - grouping windows is a great organizer! But a couple of feature requests?

- I find that when I mouse over the very topmost edge of the tab bar (so that vertical arrows appear indicating vertical resize is possible) and double-click, instead of maximizing the window height like a regular Win10 window, it's interpreted like a double-click in the title area, and maximizes the whole window. I use that top-edge-height-maximize double-click quite extensively, so it'd be great if that could be implemented.

- In most browsers and tabbed environments I'm familiar with, a middle-click anywhere on the tab title closes the tab, which again, would be nice to have. I don't find I'm closing tabs all that much, but it's only the start of my workday!

- Could there be an option to only group windows when I drag the tab or tab bar into the tab bar of an already-tabbed window? I've had a couple of situations where just repositioning a grouped window over another window has combined them (this might well just be me getting to grips with it, and I could see how that might break a couple of other assumptions)

But again - amazing productivity boost / cognitive load reducer already!

Thanks for any consideration!

On above situation please use these setting/option to your liking : For me I use "Only group when Cntrol is held down" to ensure it only group when I want it to group. You can try other option.

Ah! And above: A middle click on a tab should -> Close the tab. Missed that line the first time, so that's great - it's only the vertical resize which would be a nice to have.

Thanks for your help Basj!

A middle click on a tab should -> Close
End of treestarnk's quote

Yup, I missed that part, since my mouse middle click is set for pointer speed so I can't really use that.

Glad to help.

Thank you,

Double-clicking on the bottom edge of the window does the same thing as the top edge, so I'm using that as a workaround for now.
