Website Issue - Chrome Malware Alert

I just want to point out that my version of Chrome refused to download an executable from my list on the "myaccount" page. There was no feedback as to what was going on, until I right-clicked and was given a warning explaining the refusal (site was flagged, or else an unsecure download).

My workaround was to use Internet Explorer, so it's no longer a concern for me, but probably something to be looked at.

Nothing available from Stardock's software on 'myaccount' will be an issue or 'unsafe'.  Some AV programs give false-positives when dealing with some compression algorithms and/or any executable, however the easiest way to not suffer them is to set Stardock's site as 'trusted'.

GUI/Shell software often gets flagged because it is intended to alter the OS and/or system files which is of course what a virus wants to do.

Difference is....one is what you want....the other is what you don't want....and some AV systems can't differentiate...;)

The problem was not a anti-virus program, but Google Chrome itself. There was no way around it, other than using another browser. It's unclear from the Google documents, but it's possible that the site has been flagged.
