So Metaverse score is different now?

I was scoring (apperently 899) before and now with 1.05 I got 7600 for a game about similar in results. Was this mentioned somewhere? Or did my old scores all get lowered (I can't rememver what they were, honestly). Just going from 900 to 8000 is odd.

Two months is a long time in the world of Meta, Dearmad.

1.05 scoring was given a significant boost (I may be making the understatement of the year here)to encourage playeres to upgrade to the more robust version while scores of older versions scores were reduced by a certain factor.

5 digit scores are rather common nowadays.

Whew! I was wondering the same thing. I'm back after a two month absence (don't ask, it's a tragic tale) and the scores are a magnitude higher. First game I've owned where I get better when not playing. ;)

The scoring has changed yet again with the new expansion. Scores in version 1.09 (expansion) are only about 2/3 the level of scores in 1.05.

All my scores are consistenly lower with the new version. I loaded up an old game (saved at completion), hit turn, game finsihed, looked at the score and it was lower than previously. Perhaps the method I play the games is scored lower and your method of playing is not affected.
