Windows 10 Menu doesn't open when clicked

I have used Start10 for a number of years without problem.  I use the Windows 7 style but can always switch to the Windows 10 menu by selecting that from the Start menu.  Now, when I select Windows 10 menu, nothing happens.  I tried switching my start menu to the 'Windows 10 Style' and it won't work either.  I tried to contact Stardock support for assistance but it appears that it no longer exists.  Anyone have an idea what is going on with my Start10?

Thank you for the quick response.  I am relieved that Stardock technical support does exist!  Here is the information you requested:

Windows Version 20H2 (OS Build 19042.870)

Start10 Version 1.96

Settings on Control Page are same as the image your provided above.

Of interest - I just purged Start10 from my computer and reinstalled it.  Now, when I click on 'Windows 10 Menu' from the Start menu, I get the following error:

Windows cannot find 'C:\Users\MyName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\StartMenu\Windows 10 Menu.lnk'.  Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.

Thank you again for your assistance with this issue.

Please try the following:

-For Win8/10 Users: Open the Start Screen, and type 'cmd'. Right-click on the search result and select 'Run as administrator' from below.

-Type: sfc /scannow

-Wait for the scan to complete (this can take several minutes)

Some help on how this looks should you need it:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929833/use-the-system-file-checker-tool-to-repair-missing-or-corrupted-system

If the SFC finds errors, but cannot fix them, please also run the following command in the same command prompt window:

dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Some help on how this looks should you need it:

The above command should assist with replacing any damaged or problematic system files. Please note, however, since it may require restoring certain files, this process can take some time and you will need to be patient until it has completed.

Please let me know whether this resolves your problem or if you have any additional questions.

Thank you,

I ran sfc /scannow and it found a few errors and fixed them.  I then restarted the computer and clicked on 'Windows 10 menu" from the Start menu.  I then saw a small blue spinning circle near the cursor for about one second, then the circle disappears.  The 'Windows 10 menu' does not display at any time.

Hello,

If you disable Start10, does your Win keys open Windows menu?

You can disable Start10 by using Start10Tweak. Usually in C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Start10\Start10tweak.exe.

Hi Basj,

I disabled Start10 and, after that, the Start button would not open any menu.  When I re-enabled Start10, the Start button worked again to open the Start10 Windows 7 style menu but the 'Windows 10 menu' item continues not to work.  It looks like there is a problem with the regular Windows menu.

Yes, look like it. You can also try Cleanboot to see if something wrong with your main account or you have conflicting application. Please try cleanboot. https://forums.stardock.com/486022/start10-support-faq#cleanboot. Try that and report back.
