having trouble changing skins on OD

i'm having trouble changing the skins with od. i downloaded the skin, extracted it to the objectdock folder, and i still can't choose it from the drop-down list. i'm assuming you're supposed to choose themes > load dock themes and choose your skin from that list, but it doesn't show. any ideas of what i'm doing wrong?

If you wan't to change dock backgrounds, you will need to make sure they are in that respective folder. All backgrounds MUST go in the 'backgrounds' folder in ObjectDock to show up in the drop-down list.

what about for icon packages for od...for example, the one i'm trying to download is the 3fx found here https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=29&SkinID=1636 and i can't get it to load. thanks for your help
