Can't Open LogOn Studio Files

I hate to sound really stupid but everytime I download a logon that I would like to use, I try to open it with logon studio and I keep getting the same error that it must be a .logon file. If I am downloading it from WinCustomize as a LogOn Studio file then shouldn't it be the correct file??? Someone please help

after you dl the skin, are you extracting the zipped file directly into your logon studio folder? it has to be extracted into that folder before you can load it with logon studio

It depends on what the extension of the file is that you downloaded. If the downloaded file has a zip extension then this maybe your problem. Note: the above message is incorrect. (Sometimes when you double click the file it will send it to the logonstudio directory but not execute it. So, you just end up with two .logon files which is not necessary. Then, if you install it, logon studio will create two directories for the same logon. THis is not necessary.)

All you have to do is open logon studio and point to the .logon file. I'm assuming that you downloaded a zip file which must first be extracted to see the .logon file within it.
