Does anyone know how to open (or extract) an icon from an executable program, or its .dll file? Also, how would I know which file to look in?

Just go to open file and browse to the executable of the program ( sometimes they are in a .dll too)

If you have IconPackager, it comes with a tool called IconExplorer, which you can browse and extract any and all icons within any .DLL or .EXE or any other file containing icons.
