Getting rid of the thumbnail tilt

As below. I tried to get Sun Valley style ahead of Sun Valley, but obviously the one annoying lingering thing is that repulsive tilted view of thumbnails. We've been stuck with this since Vista. Anyone ever figured out if there's any hack to get rid of the tilted view and either 1. make folder.jpg displaying flat or 2. turn folder thumbnail to picture only (just like regular images)?
