my key is not working

Key activation - please help

Hi - I bought a new laptop as my old laptop is not working and I installed Fences2 on the new system and am trying to activate my key but I get an error saying - there was a problem connecting to the activation server. It is very frustrating, I tried 10-20 times.

Could you please help me.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. You might need to deactivate old activation before you can activate it again on your new laptop. Please use this guide : https://forums.stardock.com/486311/accounts-and-activation-support-faq#deactivateproduct. Do let us know if you still need our assistance.

Have you look through the guide in that link I provided? There is a guide where you do not need your old laptop to deactivate your old activation.

Hi Basj - I deactivated all the keys even though I can have up to 5 activations. Now I have zero activations since I deactivated all of them. I am still getting the same error ' There was a problem connecting to the activation server'. Could you please help ASAP. Thanks Suresh

I think it is working now. I redid it everything and it worked. But I still not getting the logic when I can activate up to 5 machines, why I was getting that error? Could you please check in the background and make sure I can install on 5 machines. Thanks for your help.

Sadly, I can not help you on that. But, if you have issue activating on your 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th machine, please raise a support ticket using the link below and Support will help you from there.

ok thanks, I thought this was the support forum. My problem started from there as I was not able to activate it on my second machine. You told me to deactivate all and then activate it on one machine. But it was suppose to work without any deactivation. So my original issue still exists.
