Transparent Taskbar?

Is this even possible with Curtains? I've been fighting with this program for over an hour now trying to get my taskbar fully 100% transparent and it won't budge..

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues.  Need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows version, please use Windows Winver.exe for full Windows version numbers.
  2. Curtains version.

Thanks

Hello,

"Winver.exe" is available in all Windows since Windows 7 or maybe since before that. Just type Winver.exe in your search box it should appear.

Anyway,

If you have Start10, it will be easier to make it transparent. You just need to disable Curtains control on Taskbar and adjust taskbar transparency via Start10.

Thank you,

I think in your screenshot it has indeed become as transparent as that theme would make it.

You would need to alter the image for the taskbar to make it transparent as otherwise transparent mode will paint no blur under the taskbar image but still paint the image for the taskbar.

To do this just click the edit button which should open the taskbar image up in your default editor.  Make that transparent and you will have what you want.
