Orb of Draginol Issue

Try clicking the trophy cup at the bottom of the screen. It should say galactic achievements. In the screen that pops up, you should have the option of activating 1 or more events. One of the events is for the orb of draginol.

Thank you for the suggestion, but that is how you START the galactic achievement process.  As you can see from my first screen snapshot above, I have already completed the first 2 steps and the only step left is to retrieve the orb (by the way, RETREIVE should be spelled RETRIEVE).  Since I have found it and own the planet, I need to know how to officially retrieve it (or is this a bug?).

I did the same thing and had the same question. It's not at all clear what we're supposed to do at this point.

I don't know what to do next. I haven't done this event thus far.

I got to a similar point.  I started the mission, then found the planet, then colonized it.  (Didn't try the put an administrator and click on it but will do so).   No progress.  
Now in a prior game I started the mission, the Arceans found the Orb so I hopped over and invaded their planet.  I got the message that I had retrieved the orb.
So at this point I don't know if you must let another player get the planet/Orb and then take the planet or if the code for the mission is not yet thoroughly vetted for all possible ways/sequences the orb could be found.
I do know that when I opened the pocket universe a message that the Orb needed to be found was issued (does this move the Orb?  Not sure).   I also know that more than one planet can say Orb of Draginol in its description as I have see this as well.

I had the Orb of Draginol on TWO different Worlds in a 0.55 game, and I built the Orb of Draginol on the surface of one of those Planets (that was close to my Home World in that game), which gave me an Artifact called the Orb of Draginol.

Then I activated the Artifact, and I got what looked like a Space Monster Hive that was labeled (or named) "Tear in Space" and 4 Fleets of Space Monster Ships. I think that the Tear in Space links to the Pocket Universe. (Sort of like the old Master of Orion 2, where we go to Antares and have the battle to win the game). Each of the Four Space Monster Fleets had 11 ships with a total of 50 Guns and 8 Armor for each Fleet.

In that game I had TWO Worlds that Each had a Orb of Draginol on them. So I suspect that we can see multiple Tear(s) in Space.
Probably linking to the same Pocket Universe, so "MAYBE" they can serve as a shortcut between different Tears in Space via the Pocket Universe, if we can use the Tear in Space without killing it? One near my Home World , another in a different Home Sector for 2 other Races.

If not, got to the Discord and Search for "Tear in Space" for screenshots of what I saw in that 0.55 game (fairly recently, i.e. about 3 weeks ago, before 0.60 was released). However, most of my military was in other Sectors, so I was not ready to fight what came out of the Tear in Space.

I tried clicking on that link and it seemed to work just now.

I did NOT try to fight those Space Monster Fleets or try to use the Tear in Space. So what comes next I do not know (yet).

added: I only activated it so I could see what kind of hostile Fleets would come out of it, so I could design and build my ships and Fleets to fight them. I was not ready to fight them in that game. And not much later, 0.60 started, so I never fought them for real, in that game.

Sorry for only giving you an incomplete answer on what to expect from the Orb of Draginol, but I at least did not spoil it for you too much. Just some hints. There might be more yet to see, particularly if it is possible for multiple Tears in Space in one game.

In my 0.65 game, I started the mission. Many enemy ships popped up. I killed them all over several turns. The mission shows the first two conditions as met. However, I cannot find the Orb and there is no obvious Tear in Space to enter to find the Orb. When I click on the downward arrow in the mission conditions box, nothing happens.

How do I find the Org and finish the mission?
