I just recently purchased start10......works great but was wondering why the menu I have does not match the theme screen shots. I either get a WIN 7 style menu, or modern, or the actual Win 10 start menu, but not what the theme screenshot show me, which is like a cross between the WIN 10 start menu and Win 7........What I was hoping to see is a windows 11 type start menu skinned various ways through curtains or windowblinds. It is because I am not using Start 11? I am running Windows 10 20H2, and I see various bugs popping up here and there when using Windowblinds or Curtains or Start10 that I did not see before, such as when I moved the taskbar into a verticle position, I lose almost most of the taskbar which disappears and is only fixed by repositioning the taskbar to the bottom. Anyone else getting that as well? Anyway, I am eager to see what people have to say. It could be my main issue is that I am not using Start11...........or is there some configuration item that I am missing or not doing"? Thanks for all the help you may wish to provide. Sorry to hear you are having issues. Not really sure what you're seeing on your screen and what you're comparing with. Please post few screenshot or a video showing us your issue. This could help us understand your issue better.

As for taskbar moving on Windows 10. No, there is no issue on those for Start10 on Windows 10. I can move the taskbar to all four corners without any problem.

Also provide us on your Windows version, full version number please. And Start10 version you have installed.

The version of start10 that I am using is 1.19    Windows 10 is version 20H2, the fall 2020 update.  I can't find a way to post a screenshot of the modern menu that I am getting.  Oh well. Thanks for everything.

Taskbar Right. Invisible save for where the start button is.......

As far as the start10 menu goes......it could be that the reason I am not seeing the menu I want, is because I am not using Start11. And the screenshots that don't match my pc are all using Start11....??   Perhaps that would explain it. Because I cannot find any setting in Start10 that gives me the option I am looking for. I just get a Win 7 style menu, or the modern menu, or the regular default Win 10 start menu. Thanks!

Yes. That is the start menu design that I was looking for.As far as bugs go, tt could be that TaskbarX might be creating issues or glitches on my system. Or it could be rounded, which I got off the Microsoft store to round off the taskbar edges........who knows? Thanks!

In Start 10, click on Appearance and check Show icons as tiles split into... and pick your number, 3 is normal. Then go to Configure and check Show currently used applications. That should do it. Never heard of TaskbarX, but it is probably not compatible with Stardock products.

I am on Windows 10 using Start 10 though, not sure about Windows 11 and Start 11.

Hi Lightstar!  icons as tiles split...well that didn't work.

But default to the all programs list on menu open seems to have done the trick!
