Why is it when i try to dowload some logons to logon studio it doesn't recognize them? >
However when i read the comments some say they were able to get it.
Any help is appreciated.

have you unzipped the logon to the correct folder?

If it is a .logonxp file Just open logonstudio and press load then browse to the file.
If it is a .zip then decompress it and put the decompressed folder in the logonstudio folder.

i know that you have to do that, but even after i do that stuff some logons still wont work. But some people have gottrn them 2 work somehow

because those are older format logins and you have to import them once they have been un-compressed into the login skin directory...

You might even have to edit the layout a bit depending on the display size it was created for.

If I'am not mistaken, each logon theme has to have its own folder and theme name.

Now if it still is not recognized delete what just got loaded into the logon folder.
Sometimes there is a screw up and there is a folder in a folder.
Take the file you downloaded if it is a .logonxp change the name to end in .zip now extract it.
Look inside the decompressed folder if there is a .logonxp inside open logonStudio and try loading this one.

I have downloaded logons that are logons inside logons.
They will not be recognized if there is a .logonxp inside a .logonxp
.logonxp is a .zip that has been associated with logonstudio via the extension change.

You could just keep changing the name and decompressing until you have a folder with pictures in it and then put the folder into logon program folder,it should recognize a decompressed folder if it has the right contents.
